Siemon’s Category 6A shielded cables support channel performance exceeding ANSI/TIA-568.2-E and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA requirements. When combined with Siemon’s Z-MAX 6A shielded connectivity, the result is a channel capable of supporting 10GBASE-T operation over 100-metre, 4-connector topologies. In addition, the shielded construction ensures virtually zero alien crosstalk. The Category 6A cabling system supports emerging and converging IP applications like Voice Over IP (VoIP), IP video, remote powering and future 10 gigabit applications. These cables are ideally suited to support all levels of Power over Ethernet with an expanded operating temperature to 75° C and enhanced heat dissipation characteristics. Cable construction options include F/UTP, F/FTP, S/FTP, and U/FTP.
